The seminar provides an overview of recent topics in soft matter physics with focus on theoretical results and modern simulation methods. Each student will present one topic during 45 minutes with subsequent discussions.
The seminar is limited to 14 participants.

  12. Simulation methods for coarse-grained solvents
  13. Physics of the glass transition
  14. GPU-accelerated molecular dynamics simulations

Voraussetzungen: good knowledge in classical and statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, electrodynamics
