In der Computer Vision geht es um die Erkennung von Objekten oder Ereignissen in Kamerabildern. Im Gegensatz zur reinen Bildverarbeitung arbeiten wir oft mit einer Folge von Bildern. In der Vorlesung werden wir wegbereitende Veröffentlichungen vorstellen. Die Vorlesung schließt mit einer ausführlichen Betrachtung des gegenwärtigen State-of-the-Art.
 

 

Contents:

The most frequent tasks in Computer Vision are object (or event) detection and object tracking. In contrast to the field of image processing we often work on a sequence of images (a.k.a. video). In the lecture we will review a number of essential landmark publications and learn about cutting edge technologies of today.
